This is a brief phone interview I just did with Matt. I’m going to use sections of it for a presentation at Home Show Sunday night. If you catch this and listen to it before dress rehearsal on Saturday, call us at 865-223-6833 and tell us!
As previouly announced, we’ll be meeting Saturday from 10am-5pm to get some extra rehearsal time that we lost during the Christmas production. Here are the details you need:
Please show up to the Choir Room like normal at 10am. You’ll need to pick up your name tag and music just like a normal rehearsal.
If you have extra Reborn shirts, please make sure your name is in the tag and bring them with you. We’ll be wearing them on Sunday, and we have more new members than we have extra shirts, so we need your help!
Lunch will be provided around noon.
After lunch will be some free time and games. During this time we’ll conduct a Featured Vocalist meeting and the call-back audition. NOTE: If you’re a Featurd Vocalist and will not be there Saturday after lunch time, please leave a comment here or email me so I know what to expect.
We’ll conclude with more rehearsal time in the afternoon and wrap up with some fun at 5pm. Your ride can pick you up at the West Entrance then.
Attending this rehearsal can make up for previous absences (counting toward the attendance requirement), but absence will not count against you. That being said, if you’re available, we need everyone there if we’re going to be productive.
Please ask any questions in the comments section below so that everyone may benefit from the answers.
Please remember, all paperwork and deposit money is due this Sunday evening. This week FUSION is rehearsing with the Celebration Choir & Orchestra and Expedition Praize in the Worship Center from 4-6pm. Starting at 5:30pm, parents may come to the Welcome Center (located just inside the West Entrance to the Worship Center building) to ask questions and/or turn in paperwork. We will have trip leaders on hand to help process paperwork. A notary will also be available to endorse the liability forms.
If you are having trouble with which forms to complete or are missing some or all of your paperwork, hopefully this will help:
If you’ve been on a MISSIONS DEPARTMENT trip in the past two years (Student Ministry Mission Tours do not count, but last year’s FUSION trip and previous overseas Senior Trips do) you need:
This week Aaron is joined by a new guest cohost. Some very important announcements and reminders are made, so listen closely! Please direct your feedback to 865-223-6833 or fusioncast@fusionchoir.com
Hey guys, use the player below to listen to the songs we’re singing this weekend. Download it using the ‘Download’ link if you want to put it on your mp3 player. I’m not putting this episode in the iTunes feed, because it doesn’t need to be publicly distributed. I will also delete the file off the server after Sunday. Details for Sunday are as follows:
Meet at 4:30 at WestLake - in the gym/worship room upstairs
We’re singing at 6pm INSIDE, not outside (that’s a change from the info we had Sunday)
Dinner will be provided at WestLake
We’ll be done by 7:30, possibly earlier
Wear your new Catalyst shirt and denim (jeans, knee-length skirt, capris, etc)
Thanks for your faithfulness to serve, and I look forward to seeing you all Sunday!
This week we spend some time talking through news, both church-wide and specific to FUSION. Questions of the week, Zach’s Top 9, and cupcake eating round out the rest of the show.
Responses:
Zach’s question: If you could learn to play any instrument, what would it be? Aaron’s question: If you had to adopt a fast food slogan as your life motto, what would it be? Zach’s Top 9 things you never knew about FUSION adult sponsors… Church marquees are coming in! We’ll spend some time next week talking about them, so if you’ve got one, call it in! Better yet, take a picture and send it to us at fusioncast@fusionchoir.com
This week, Zach and Aaron cover upcoming church and Fusion Events; examine a new top 9 and enjoy the latest question of the week. They’re also graced by a special guest…or…guests.
Responses:
Zach’s Question of the Week: If you could be any animal, what would you be, and why?
Aaron’s Question of the Week: What’s your favorite new FUSION song this year, and why?
Report any church marquees you see, and tell us where you saw them. When we have enough we’ll have a top 9!
Note: The connection to our video stream service broke about 30 minutes into the show, and so the first 30 minutes are unavailable for video. We apologize for this unfortunate loss. Fortunately, we still have the last 11 minutes, including the special guests’ appearances. This segment of video will also be available in the podcast feed.
